About this Event
Panel Moderator: Mark Shea
Coming from four different academic backgrounds, our panel will focus on discussing the academic knowledge we gained by working in our respective STEM fields and how this experience has driven us towards more research related future plans. Whether it was working as a research assistant in a Biochemistry lab, or using virtual reality in Psychology research, or creating a mathematical model of the pandemic, or even shadowing the peculiarities of the chip manufacturing industry, this panel has seen it all! Our goal is to present research in an accessible light, and to provide both an academic and industry-based perspective, encouraging aspiring students to engage in hands-on experiences in their field.
