If you desire to do art while maintaining an economically and socially stable life, it can often feel that it will be impossible to balance those desires moving forward. In this panel, we discuss three different opportunities we explored as a means of getting closer to finding how that balance might be achieved, both within the nonprofit world and the fine arts world. We offer reflections on our experiences in facilitation, administration, and studio work. We all have come to the arts through different paths; some of us have had professional careers, others only recently discovered their love for disability art, and one even finished their pre-med requirements (almost). If you are curious as to how to move towards a sustainable career in the arts, we would encourage you to come listen to our talk.
