About this Event
11 Park Street, South Hadley, MA
Science is a field that constantly builds upon itself, and a strong basis is necessary to support the research and innovation that's yet to come. Whether it is building protocols, developing archives, or doing organizational work, our jobs pave the way for those who come after and provide insight into the field that would otherwise not be found. In this panel, we will talk about the ways we used our summer to create and build upon foundational work: from investigating Chlamydia through a mouse model, restoring wet preserved skeletal frog specimens, commercial bee infection trials, to forming a health index guiding corrections within entomology archives. Each of our experiences allowed us to gain essential background knowledge in our field and prepare for futures. Join us as we showcase our diverse experiences in the field of biology and the essential skills we gained from them.
