President Holley’s Class: POLIT-351, The Supreme Court and Civil Rights – Zoom BOOM!
As part of BOOM, President and Professor of Politics Danielle Holley is offering all students, faculty, staff and alums a virtual session of her spring 2024 course on the Supreme Court. The topic for the class will be Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College and the University of North Carolina. Please join her for this discussion of the Supreme Court and civil rights.
President Holley is a noted legal scholar on issues of civil rights and diversity in education. She is the co-chair of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Holley served as Dean of the School of Law at Howard University (2014 - 2023) prior to joining Mount Holyoke. She holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Holley also previously served as a law clerk to Judge Carl E. Stewart on the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
