This panel will be focusing on the different STEM research opportunities we participated in through Lynk funding. Each of us had unique experiences working in economics, kinesiology, neuroscience, and biology respectively. We will discuss how we found these research opportunities, what our research assistant (RA) responsibilities were, and how we worked independently and/or with a team. Some of our responsibilities included working with new software (MatLab, Python, R Studio, etc.), reading primary literature, dissections, designing surveys, working with human subjects and animals, and running behavior tasks. Our experiences have expanded our knowledge and impacted us in meaningful ways that will guide our career development.
