WHAT: Senior Capstone/ACDA Auditions

WHY: This audition is an opportunity to audition for 8 different senior capstone dance works, plus a project that will perform at the ACDA New England Conference, both of which will take place this spring!

The Senior Capstone is a culmination of the work and research which students engage in throughout their time at Mount Holyoke, and is developed throughout the entire academic year (fall and spring semesters). As a dancer in a capstone project(s), you are an integral part of the continued research process during a senior’s final year as a student at MHC. The works will be presented at MHC on March 28 and 29, 2025.

One of the pieces that will be cast from this audition will be performed at the American College Dance Association’s New England Conference in Providence, Rhode Island, rather than at the MHC Capstone Concert. This process will also span the entire academic year (fall and spring semesters), and take the stage during the conference which runs from March 12-15, 2025.

We hope you can join us for auditions on September 15! Please plan to be present for the entire period from 9–11:30 am. Dress comfortably - you may wear whatever you would like to move, groove, wiggle, and giggle in. If you have clean sneakers/tap shoes, you are encouraged to bring those too.
