Please join the Astronomy Department for a special STAFF Appreciation Evening and Observatory Open House on Saturday, November 11 at 8:00pm-10:00pm at Williston Observatory. Located on Jewett Lane in South Hadley, across the street from the main gates of MHC campus. Family members (including children!) are welcome at this event!

Tour the observatory (the oldest operational building on campus!) with faculty and current Astronomy students, and enjoy a chance to look through a variety of telescopes, including the Clark telescope and our brand new Unistellar eVscope 2s, to see your favorite celestial objects!

There is limited parking available at the Observatory. Please be cautious, as there will be telescopes and stargazers present in the parking lot.

Light refreshments will be provided. This event is, of course, weather dependent (rain date TBA). Please use the link below to RSVP: this way we can plan accordingly for refreshments AND email all interested parties if we have to reschedule due to weather.
