Our panel, an inspiring combination of writing, pottery-making, and art museum curation, interconnects through storytelling across different artistic mediums, and giving back to our local communities through social-justice based journalistic work, art fundraisers, and visual global representation, respectively. We each served as mediators between the public and our organizations to make these ideas accessible for general audiences. In this panel, we will explore how physical and digital media can make meaningful impact today as well as create records of personal and communal accounts for future generations to see, understand, question, and learn from.
