About this Event
13 Gateway Road, South Hadley, MA
This panel aims to discuss recording and preserving history through the documentation of media. With internships in field archeology, photography, museum outreach, and fashion, we connected our summer projects through hands-on learning in our fields, creative work in diverse landscapes, and the strong interpersonal relationships we built. We worked at every stage of the documentation process, from collection to refinement to presentation for everyday consumption. While working in our immersive environments, we learned how to communicate with the general public and our project supervisors. While we all had very different summer internships, from Taipei to Cerne Abbas to Paris to Seattle, they all overlapped in their creative and collaborative environments within the process of media documentation and storytelling.
