About this Event
Are you dreaming about a career change but feeling hesitant or overwhelmed? You’ve worked hard to get where you are in life, and the idea of starting over is so daunting that you’re not quite sure where to begin. This workshop will walk you through the tangible steps you can take before you begin your job search so that once you take that leap, you’ll end up on a path that will suit you for the long run.
Jessica Moore Crowley ’04 is a life designer who specializes in burnout prevention and career change. She has pivoted from interior design to higher education to diversity, equity and inclusion leadership and human resources. Jessica used what she learned from navigating these professional transitions to create a customized program with strategic tools to help people build values-aligned boundaries and an effective practice of internal self-care. She connects this work with the broader issue of systemic betrayal, which has led to the global burnout epidemic.
Jessica earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, an M.A. from Boston College, and a Certificate of Leadership Coaching from the International Coaching Federation–accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.
Her most challenging yet joyful and rewarding role is that of a parent. Jessica is doing her best to support her daughter through the rollercoaster of the middle school years. She believes kids can teach us some of the most important lessons about leadership and belonging.
