Presented by the MHC Jazz Ensembles, the 14th annual not-to-be-missed recreation of a 1940s radio broadcast created and directed by Mark Gionfriddo, featuring WWLP-TV’s Brian Lapis as emcee “Fred Kelley.” 

This year marks the 80th anniversary of a performance by The Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Mount Holyoke Senior Promenade. In celebration of that Prom, the 2019 Big Broadcast will feature some music made famous by Glenn Miller. Fiddler Zoë Darrow ’12 will perform on two pieces: “Stay A Little Longer” by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and “Ciribiribin” as originally sung by Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters.

Performances at 2:00 and 7:30 pm. Snowdate is Sunday, March 3.
