This film tells the story of the transformative power of culture and community. Based on the real events of the Bell Waterline Project that initiated a resurgence of the traditional concept of gadugi (working together to solve a problem) and led to the election of Wilma Mankiller, the first modern female chief of the Cherokee Nation.

A discussion on the values of interconnectedness will follow.
