Speaker: Anthea Butler
The relationship between the African American community and the Jewish community in America has been one of shared struggles, differences, and complications. Professor Butler's talk will give an overview of this special yet complicated relationship from the Civil Rights movement to the present, focusing on the religious, legal and political issues that both strengthen and risk shared advocacy.
