Dig a little deeper into the geothermal project on campus by joining Thermal Thursdays. This recurring monthly opportunity will bring you to sites where phases of the project are being worked on, provide you the opportunity to talk with project staff, see the components of the work, and understand what’s really going on under the surface.

We welcome all Mount Holyoke College community members to join. It’s our hope that these events will help our community feel a greater understanding of this important sustainability project on campus, and invited to connect their work and scholarship to it.

This month we'll start off with a discussion in the project field office, and then head over to the bore field, the site of the 'geothermal battery' for the project. We promised to keep boring interesting, so you won't want to miss out on seeing this once in a century activity take place. You will of course have time to meet the team, ask questions, and hear about the big picture view of this work.
