About this Event
Overwhelmed by distress? Powerless over your emotions? Feelings keeping you from living the life you want? Frustrated, confused, or concerned about your relationships? Unable to communicate your needs and limits?
Research indicates that certain evidence-based skills and strategies are effective in strengthening individuals’ distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness — challenges that are especially common among college-aged folx.
Thrive is a skills workshop series that will provide concrete skills & strategies to help you manage some of these challenges, allow you to be your best self, and help you to live your best life.
Come to any number of sessions in the rolling five-week series, or come to all five for more skills!
Interested? Contact Hal Brown, LCSW (halbrown@mtholyoke.edu) for information & registration.
Presented by the Mount Holyoke College Counseling Service, Division of Student Life.
