About this Event
5 Lower Lake Road, South Hadley, MA
Trans Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20 that seeks to honor the lives and memories of transgender people whose lives have been lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
This year, our community will gather in the Great Room for a Memorial featuring special guest Rev. Louis Mitchell. We will uplift the lives and legacies of our trans ancestors, the hope and resilience they inspire and center the recently departed Stonewall Veteran and prolific organizer Miss Major Griffin-Gracy.
Afterwards, dinner will be served to honor the power of our community here and now, the chosen families we build to sustain us and the power of a collective future orientated toward queer and trans liberation.
