As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many are spending more time in front of screens for work and social engagements. During this webinar, expert Theresa J. Ruggiero, OD, FCOVD will share tips for minimizing the negative effects of increased screen use on vision.

Dr. Ruggiero is a neuro-developmental optometrist practicing in Northampton, Massachusetts. She trained in New York City at the SUNY College of Optometry and has practiced in Western Mass since 1987. In 1993 Dr. Ruggiero established Northampton Vision Specialists – a general practice that is built upon the desire to provide the best possible vision care for all patients. Her primary goal has been and continues to be to maximize each patient’s vision so that they can do the things they want and need to do in the world. She and her associates, Dr. Elizabeth Hannigan and Dr. Naomi Clay specialize in several areas including binocular dysfunctions, learning related visual deficits, sports vision enhancement and neurologically based visual symptoms including concussions.
