Learn about the Williams-Mystic Semester Program: Tuesday (2/21) at Blanch from 11:30 am–1:30 pm. This is a Twelve College Exchange program open to MHC Students.

Do you care about the health of our oceans? Are you passionate about environmental justice and issues impacting coastal communities? Fascinated by the histories and stories that have been shaped by the sea? Looking for a unique and community-focused study-away semester? If so, you should consider Williams-Mystic, one of Mount Holyoke's approved study away programs through the 12 College Exchange.
The Williams-Mystic semester is offered each fall and spring through Williams College. Our semester is based on the coast in Mystic, CT, which serves as our home base in between several field seminars on America's coasts. Our courses are experiential and emphasize original research: it’s not unusual for classes to meet on a boat, at the beach, or immersed in Mystic Seaport Museum’s historical collections. In our unique interdisciplinary approach, our small cohort studies the literature, history, policy, and science of the oceans and coasts of the United States.

To learn more, stop by our info table on Tuesday, February 21, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Blanch, outside of dining.

We can't wait to meet you and tell you so much more about this opportunity!

If you can’t make it to the Info Table on Tuesday, please feel free to visit or website for more information or email us – we’d be happy to find a time to meet on Zoom or answer questions via email.
