Our panel will be focusing on the four internships that we all completed through different perspectives of the financial sector. This panel discussion aims to talk about our summer internship experiences both working hybrid and fully in-person as the world recovers from a global pandemic. At our internships, the majority of our work focused on data analysis, financial legal deals, and report writings. We will discuss how we learned to navigate corporate environments through accomplishing administrative tasks and networking, which at times felt mundane but was a valuable part of our professional development. We will also explore our experiences as women and people of color in the corporate finance industry and hope to inspire those with similar backgrounds who are hoping to pursue similar fields.
