What does justice mean in our everyday lives and how do our identities shape the ways we experience it? In this foundational workshop on social justice and intersectionality, students will explore how race, gender, class, sexuality, ability, and other identities intersect to impact individual experiences and collective systems.

Through interactive activities, storytelling, and reflection, students will begin to understand their own social locations and learn how they can assist in building inclusive, equity-driven communities on campus and beyond while learning about the many on-campus resources that are available to assist them on this Journey.

Come ready to listen, share, and discover how “you,” “me,” and “we” are all part of the journey toward justice.
