In honor of women’s history month, five leaders from the Racial Equity and Justice Institute will share in this virtual event personal stories regarding their ongoing efforts to address racism and gender bias – both in their own lives and in their work for equity.

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect, discuss and create action plans with other equity-minded higher education professionals.

As a result of attending the workshop participants will:

• Enhance their ability to reflect on the ways in which cultural socialization has affected them personally and professionally in their work for equity.
• Engage in discussions with equity-minded practitioners from across five campuses about strategies to drive equity on their campuses.
• Create an action plan for next steps they can take to advance equity in demonstrable ways.
