Welcome to Mount Holyoke! Starting college is incredibly exciting. You've worked hard to get here, and all kinds of academic and social opportunities await you. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Welcome Tent located?
The Welcome Tent is located on Skinner Green, the lawn in front of Skinner Hall. Students can pick up their room keys, Orientation schedule, and learn about resources available on campus.
Do I have to register for Orientation?

Students do not have to register for Orientation, but parents, families and supporters should. Please register by 9 am on August 20.

Are there any events that parents, families and supporters should attend?
While many scheduled activities are open to you, please mark your calendars for the Parent, Family, and Supporter Orientation from 1:45 to 4:30 pm, followed immediately by the President's Reception at 4:30 pm at the President's House.
Where can I park?

Due to construction on campus, this information is subject to change.

Throughout Orientation, guests may park in faculty/staff spaces without a pass between 5 pm and 7 am, Monday–Friday, or on weekends (until 7 am Monday). Visitors may also park in the Gorse or Equestrian Center parking lots. Please note that visitor parking at the Willits-Hallowell Conference Center is reserved for those visiting the center. Please refer to the campus parking map.
